Call for Catechists - We Need Your Help!!
Many thanks to our wonderful Grade 9 students and teachers for making our first session such a success! Just a reminder that we will begin our classes for Grade 10 on Sunday, November 23. These classes, as you know, will take place from 5:30-8:15 p.m. at St. Patrick Parish one time per month.
Grades 1-8 will begin on Sunday, December 7. We are happy to report that our new classrooms are beginning to take shape as construction has begun! Many thanks to the terrific individuals who have stepped forward to join our Religious Education Catechist Team this year! We are in the process of training some new members of our team and are so happy to report that all classes now have teachers!
We still are in need of additional volunteers to help us as traffic and building assistants during our class sessions. Please contact Jennifer at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help! Thank you!

We are blessed and excited to have so many children and teens joining us this year! Due to our large numbers, however, we still are in need of many Catechists to help us in our program. We ask that you prayerfully consider joining our Religious Ed Family of Catechists. If you feel called to this ministry, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot do it without you and we do not currently have enough Catechists to cover all of our classes!! We will be most happy to provide you with all of the materials and support you will need to have a wonderful year with our children and teens! Specifically, we are in need of additional Catechists to teach in the following grades and time slots:
Grade 1: Wednesdays, 3:45-4:45 p.m.
Grade 2: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Grade 3: Wednesdays, 3:45-4:45 p.m. (2 Catechists Needed)
Grade 4: Sundays, 10:15-11:15 a.m.; Sundays, 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.; Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Grade 5: Sundays, 10:15-11:15 a.m. (2 Catechists Needed); Sundays, 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
We also are in need of a few additional Catechists for our older grades:
Grades 6-8 (Wednesdays, twice per month, 6-7:15 p.m.); Grades 9-10 (Sundays, once per month, 5:30-8:15 p.m.)
Please contact Jennifer (email@example.com) for Grades 1-5 or Mike (firstname.lastname@example.org) for Grades 6-10. Many thanks!

Fr. Mike MacEwen introduced us to Seminarian Peter Stamm. Peter will live at the St. Patrick rectory along with Fr. Mike and Fr. Jeff and will minister to the parishioners of both St. Patrick and St. Linus.. Peter is in his last year of priestly formation at St. John's Seminary in Brighton. He will be ordained a transitional deacon in December and a priest in May. Peter grew up in Washington DC and counts among his interests running and reading. Welcome Peter!
Welcome! Fr. Michael MacEwen, Fr. Jeffrey Archer and Fr. Leroy Owens are all moved in and settling into their new home. Many prayers and blessings on them and the Collaborative Parishes of St. Patrick and St. Linus.
